Verdict on Scoop

Scoop is a drama thriller following the BBC reporting team getting the exclusive interview with Prince Andrew about his connection to Jeffrey Epstein. It follows how both sides prepare for the interview which has become famous for exposing one of the biggest cover-ups in the Royal Family.

This movie is a story about the biggest interviews in recent years. It shows the organised chaos about getting the story out to the world. However, unlike many other bombshell interview movies, this lacks any cause or effect. It never feels like a truly make-or-break moment and ends up feeling like a quick cover story. Unlike Frost/Nixon, this doesn’t feel like a big enough story to warrant a feature film exploring.

Where to Watch

Available to watch on Netflix now.

Final Thoughts Scoop feels more like a documentary than a feature film.
