Top Dawg Entertainment artist Schoolboy Q and his almost cartoon-ish adlibs makes his brand of gangster rap all his own. They are the first thing you hear on “Banger (MOSHPIT)” and they set an almost humorous mood until the beat really sets in and Q raps about a party that goes downhill when the wrong people show up. The surreal descriptions of dark subject matter make this a standout Schoolboy Q track.
