Story Review

I am going to look at each chapter in the short stories as there is only a small connection and that is of a strange figure watching all the stories on a computer.

Clowned: This is the longest of all stories and it focuses on a family man drug dealer who gets bitten by a clown and slowly starts to turn into a flesh hungry clown. This sounds a little bit stupid but it also is the best of the lot here, we have good character development for a short story a character with questionable morals and a real test against what is happening to him. (9/10)

Tajeun Lament: This story follows a grieving widower as he looks around the city for answers only to become a hero for a young lady, but there is a twist in store. This was my second favorite as it full of beautiful shots and the overall idea of one man questioning his own existence after losing a loved one. (8/10)

RE-Membered: We follow a hit man who has done a job and while disposing of the body he starts getting a knocking coming from the trunk of his car. This is built on the suspense and questioning the sanity of the hit man, it builds up nicely but I feel it ends a bit too soon. (7/10)

With the good always comes the bad, so let’s be honest here there is always a bad one or two in this short stories ideas and theses two are these.

The Crossing: We follow two red necks and a young lady who travel towards the border between America and Mexico. The red necks are handing out their own deportation methods but once they kill two honest Mexicans the bodies of the dead start to rise for revenge. It is sad this is the first chapter of the series as this one nearly made me switch it off as it is just about terrible to watch. (3/10)

Love Come Back: Following a dead lover set out on a journey across the city to find the man who murdered her for revenge, it is a nice finish to the series but struggles to live up to the previous stories.(5/10)

Director Review: Bob Badway, Michael Emanuel, Igor Meglic – With some very good chapter next to some very bad these men show they can handle a mixture of different types of horrors. (7/10)

Horror: Mixing up nearly every type of horror we get a little of each to enjoy. (8/10)

Settings: With each setting used well to make every story feel like it could be happening in any town gives the stories some more creditability. (8/10)
Special Effects
: Good special effects throughout but good camera work make the effects more off camera. (8/10)

Suggestion: This is one for the horror fans to try, if you were a fan of the V/H/S series of films you should like and understand not everyone will be good. (Horror Fans Try)
