Story: Scalper starts when psychic medium Clementine Carter (Priver) retells her story. However, a new killer has targeted her friend Jade Mei (Ling) and Clementine gets a new connection to the killer. She believes she already stopped the killer, but now they have returned. Detective Hayden (Busey) leads the investigation.

With a new killer or the returning killer back, Clementine must deal with a new series of visions. Each one brings back the memories from before, as the killer continues to mount up the bodies.

Verdict on Scalper

Scalper is a horror slasher sequel following the psychic facing a potential new killer or a returning killer. She must deal with her own nightmares as the killer starts targeting people close to her. However, the question remains who is behind the killings?

This is a slasher that uses great effects which are the highlight of the pretty thin story. It tries to continue the story, without offering enough in-depth. This ends up feeling flat and apart from the gnarly kills, easily forgettable. It ends up feeling like a sequel we didn’t need, to create a potential franchise.
