Say Hello...

By Rockmefabulous @RockMeFabulous

Hi Fabshionistas , I've been doing a lot of thinking recently about the way the world is so computerized. We do everything on the computer or our smart phones now from sending Emails to Facebook, Twitter and everything in between. We no longer talk to people face to face or hear their voice over the phone or even see their personality come through in a letter. There's only so much emotion and personality we can show with a smiley face. I even read an article from 2009 that asked if cursive writing is worth teaching. I admit I haven't had to write anything in ages because I have a computer, anything I needed to do I type it on the computer and then print it out.
The way we talk to people now have become so impersonal so a few weeks ago  I came up with an idea to get back to writing letters and hopefully you girls would be interested in doing it as well. Yes I want to get back to the time before computers and BBM were invented and write some good old fashioned letters. I was thinking of it as a way to not only get back to writing but to also connect with other bloggers in a fun and different way. However when I talked to my sister she said she really didn't think anyone would be interested in doing this. Then while I was blog hopping I saw that Rachel of Life of a Sweetaholic beat me to it and she already did a post about writing letters to her readers, lol. They do say great minds think alike. Feel free to visit her, she has such a cute blog.  But anyway I decided to go ahead with my idea because the more people writing letters the better right?
So my idea is to get you guys to email me your postal address so I could write you a letter. I would love to write as many of you as I possibly can. Who doesn't like receiving a hand written letter? It just shows that someone took the time out to say hello. So if you would like me to post you a letter email me your postal address so I can write you
I promise I'm only going to send one letter and that's it.
If you want you can get in on the action as well and write a letter of your own to a fellow blogger. It doesn't have to be a long letter, just something simple. If you're interested in doing this as well let me know in the comments below.
Hopefully many of you would prove my sister wrong and would want to do this, if you prove her right then that's okay too. I'd still love and appreciate you.
So comment and let me know if you'd like to write a letter to a fellow blogger and email me your postal address so I can send you one.
