Savory Greek Pork Chops

By Marissa Sexton @marissa_ela

Today I'm sharing with you my Greek Marinated Pork Chops! The ingredients for the marinade can be used for chicken, fish, lamb, etc., I've even used it for roasting red potatoes.
Here in Idaho, the weather is pretty fair throughout the year allowing me to grille to heart's content. I paired this with some wild rice & green beans tonight and it was absolutely delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1/2 c. EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
6 pork chops (bone-in)

Directions:

1. Place chops in a deep baking pan or serving dish.
2. Combine first 6 ingredients (almost like a dressing).
3. Pour evenly over chops & let marinade for at least 30 minutes, (preferably an hour or more).

4. For best results, grill chops at 400 degrees for about 5-7 minutes each side.
5. Make certain the meat is thoroughly cooked before serving, however DO NOT overcook.

6. Self-explanatory!
