I'm so used to mine AirPods that I occasionally have to remind myself that they are not really the gold standard; Many true wireless earbuds are the same or even better. In his review, Carnoy says that "this updated version sounds fuller and richer, with a more balanced, cleaner sound that is quite dynamic." I've been wearing these earbuds for weeks and totally agree with his assessment. Switching from AirPods to 1More earbuds shows more depth and nuance in music. Switching back to the AirPods is staggering. It's surprising how slim and triple the AirPods can sound in comparison. A tiny example at the bottom: look at Paul McCartney's Maybe I'm Amazed. Paul's low key kick drum in the first few bars of the song really pops when played through the 1More earphones. It gives this section of the song a feel that is lacking on the AirPods.
The earbuds are easy to control thanks to a physical power switch and separate touch controls to cycle through two levels of noise cancellation, pass through mode and no ANC at all. A single charge will give you around 5 hours of use, and a 15-minute quick charge will give you 2 hours of battery life.
If I have any concerns about these 1More earbuds, it's the fit - they just aren't as secure in my ear or as comfortable as the original AirPods. But the fit is no worse than what I'm wearing AirPods ProMaybe it's not that big of a deal.
