Saturday Snapshot: Have I Told You Lately How Much I Love My Hometown?

By Anovelsource @thenovellife
In my small town we not only have one of the top military schools in the country, but we also host the Camp Merrill Army Ranger School - one of three ranger schools in the country! Each year the Ranger Camp throws open the gates and gives us civilians a chance to see military life in action.  My children and I have been going for a few years and love the experience, the show, the military. How proud I am to live in a country with men and women who sacrifice so much for my protection and freedom.  It's pretty amazing when you really think about it!
The shots below were taken during a military show, giving us a taste of what these great men and women do while out in the field. I hope you enjoy and feel the same sense of pride I did when I was at the Open House!

Can you see the camouflaged Rangers?

The Rangers have disabled the enemy (from the truck)

This was the enemy truck...now leaving scene of attack

The pink smoke bomb is to notify the helicopter to come pick the Rangers up

Can you see the line coming out of the helicopter.. that's what the Rangers use to leave the scene!

Hooked up and ready to move out!

And that's a wrap

Have I  mentioned how much I love and appreciate our military and their families?!?
I hope y'all have a fantastic Cinco de Mayo!
