Saturday Snapshot: Bear on the Square

I live in one of the greatest small towns in the world. . .Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the arrow pointing at the form on the tree is a carved bear cub. About ten years ago, a bear cub wandered on to the town square, climbed up this tree and would not come down. Animal Control/wildlife management rescued said bear and he was reunited with his mother. Alls well that ends well, right? But it didn't stop there. . .we now have an annual festival called Bear on the Square. This festival is devoted to Appalachian culture and music. A ton of fun for all music lovers!
