Welcome to February! My weekend has started with a beautiful, sunny and relatively warm Saturday. I’m taking advantage of it to go my local nursery for some fresh flowers for my home. And, speaking of flowers , one of my favorite flowering plant families is orchids. I love their beauty, delicacy and charm. My home has one that’s currently in blossom and I’m treating it with all the tender-loving care that I can.
Whenever I see an orchid in a home or nursery I always stop to admire it. Orchids come in a variety of styles, colors and shapes and I absolutely love them all. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy and tempt your orchid palette.

Aren’t these orchids absolutely gorgeous! Because of our love for orchids, Christopher and I will be going to the Orchid Extravaganza at Longwood Gardens later this month. I can’t wait! Have a really great Saturday.
