Saturday Family Fun

Hello, I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.
I have spent the day with my family enjoying a lovely lunch at Slug and Lettuce in Solihull which has become the pub of choice whenever we all meet up and go out for a nice lunch. I'm afraid I was a bad blogger and forgot to photograph my food but I can tell you that I had a very scrummy open chicken pie with a cheese and bacon sauce-yum yum!!!
As I knew I would be eating some good food today I decided I wanted a comfy outfit to wear so I went with a lovely dress from Dorothy Perkins which I picked up in the sale yesterday for £10!!!
So here is what I wore:
I love this dress it is another skater style with an elasticated waist and small mesh panels on the shoulders which add a bit of interest. Please excuse my hair but I got rained on earlier in the day so my hair had gone all flat and strange!!
My nine year old niece wanted to be featured as she is a budding fashionista so here she is!...

She even put on some lippy!!

My son then wanted to get in on the action!

If you are in the Solihull area and want some nice food then I would definitely recommend the Slug and Lettuce they have never failed to impress us with the quality of the food and good service.
