Steam and Epic Games Save File or Save Game Location: %LocalAppData%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames or C:\Users\<your Windows username>\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\<your id>

In case you do not understand how to access the route, this is how you can find it:

  1. Press Windows + R
  2. Paste %LocalAppData%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames
  3. Press Ok

Satisfactory Save Game Location – Photo Mode Save Location

Another folder and files that may interest you are those of the photo mode, the screenshots and the save location of the photo mode

Photo Mode Save Location: there are two possible paths, so try to find the folder in both

  • %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\FactoryGame\Screenshots
  • %LocalAppData%\FactoryGame\Saved\Screenshots\WindowsNoEditor

In case you do not understand how to access the route, this is how you can find it:

  1. Press Windows + R
  2. Paste %LocalAppData%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames OR Paste %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\FactoryGame\Screenshots
  3. Press Ok

Well, in fact there is a third option, and that is that if you are using the Steam Screenshots feature, the photos are not stored on your computer, but on steam, see the next section to find them:

Steam Screenshots

If you were storing your photos through the Steam Screenshots feature (even if you didn’t know it), follow these steps to find them (these steps apply to any game, not just Satisfactory):

  1. Launch Steam > Click View > Click Screenshots
  2. Find Satisfactory (or any other game) and click on Show on Disk

We hope that this guide has been helpful and that you have been able to find everything, the Save Game or Save File, and the photos that you have saved. If you have any questions or you can’t find any of the folders, leave us a comment and we will try to help you.
