Sanders Extends N. Hampshire Lead - Clinton Leads In Iowa

The NBC News / Marist Poll has released their latest surveys of New Hampshire and Iowa. The polls were done between August 26th and September 2nd. In New Hampshire, they questioned 356 Democrats (margin of error 5.2 points) and 413 Republicans (margin of error 4.8 points). In Iowa, they questioned 345 Democrats (margin of error 5.3 points) and 390 Republicans (margin of error 5 points).
The poll shows Bernie Sanders has solidified his lead in New Hampshire. He now leads Hillary Clinton by 11 points in that state. In Iowa, the results are just the opposite. The poll shows Clinton with an 11 point lead over Sanders.
For the Republicans, Donald Trump maintains a significant lead in both states. In New Hampshire, Trump has a 16 point lead over John Kasich and a 17 point lead over Ben Carson (with all other candidates finishing in single-digits). In Iowa, Trump has a 7 point lead over Carson (with no other candidate getting more than 6%).
