Prepare yourselves, Once Upon a Time fans: the hit ABC fairy tale drama is headed to 2013 Comic-Con — and bringing along its spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland!
The network announced today that both shows’ creators (Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis) and select members of the cast will attend the annual convention in San Diego, with both taking place on Saturday, July 20. Times and participating actors are not available yet, but the press release says the executive producers “will be in attendance with their casts,” which makes us hopeful the entire casts show up.
As if that’s not enough, there will also be more magical moments as the ABC booth will host autograph sessions with the casts and there will be ABC-branded pedicabs decorated to look like the Evil Queen’s carriage, The Jolly Roger, and Alice’s magical mushroom!
Lastly, though not directly related to the two series, ABC is also bringing Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Joss Whedon’s Avengers TV show. That panel will take place on Friday, July 19, and is equally magical — just in a different way. Also worth noting: Once Upon a Time writer/consulting producer Jane Espenson will also be at the convention with her web series Husbands, perhaps even participating in the OUAT panels, too!
