San Diego: A Guest Post From My Mom

By Flyingox @blogger_fei
Hey, everyone! You are currently speaking to Sunny. :) So, I am leaving for Boston tomorrow first thing in the morning. I had meant to write several blog posts so that I can just post those pre-written ones while I'm away. Unfortunately, with the hectic-ness of packing and whatnot, I did not get to those. I'll be at Harvard University for debate for 27 days. I hope I'll have time to blog but if I don't, please understand! I will try my best, though, don't worry! :D Anywho, here is my first ever guest post and it is by... *drumroll please*
MY MOM!
What a surprise, right? LOL... My mom took the photos in this blog entry herself with our really bad, really old camera (not the one I usually use.) I edited the pics for her, but the editing is pretty low-key this time, since she's not fond of photographs that are too "pigmented." Here's her post:

Hello, everyone. This is Sunny's mother. I am not a person who likes to write "blogs," but since my daughter requested, I guess I will do it for her. The things mothers are willing to do for their daughters...
Sunny told me to write about myself. Well, I have 2 kids, a son and a daughter (Sunny.) I was born in China, but currently reside in the U.S.
Recently, I went on a business trip to San Diego. It's a great city, I love it so much. It's not as crowded as I had previously thought, it has just the right amount of people. The weather is wonderful, seems to be comfortable year-round. Maybe when I retire, I can live in a city as beautiful as San Diego.

^ There are palm trees everywhere in SD, I really did not expect to see so many! When I was in San Diego, I hardly saw any normal trees. These palm trees are very refreshing, really is a change of environment from the east coast.

^ That's a picture of my hotel. It's lovely, with many palm trees surrounding it.

^ I thought those were windchimes, but they weren't. I was disappointed, they don't move.

^ So many boats! I saw that a lot were for cruises. Our family has yet to go on a cruise, but going on a cruise seems like so much fun! Would be great to go on a cruise one day with my family.

^ The historic place is my favorite. There were so many delicious foods, and so many foods from different cultures. I got to eat Greek food for the first time... yummy :-)

^ Those flowers were real!! Can you believe it?

That's all. Thank you for reading and allowing me to share my business trip. Maybe Sunny can come with me next time I go, since she was so jealous of all my beautiful pictures. (Thanks to my daughter for editing my photos!) Hope you enjoyed it, sorry if I have bad grammar here and there. English is not my native language. It's more about the pictures, not the words!! Don't expect many more entries from me :-P At least "blogging" makes me a little cooler on the mom scale, right?
