Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Grand 2, the new generation of phablet comes with a screen similar to the one of Galaxy Note range, with a 5.25 inches screen, but this time without stylus. It is more powerful than its predecessor and running the operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

“This evolution of the Galaxy series Grand brings significant improvements over its predecessor, including a better viewing experience in HD, improved performance, and many other user-friendly features,” explains Samsung in their ad. According to the manufacturer, this smartphone offers an incredible visual experience thanks to a 5.25-inch display with a high resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, ideal for watching movies, playing games and reading books and digital content.
As for the technical equipment, Galaxy Grand 2 includes a quad-core 1.2 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD cards (up to 64 GB), a 2600 mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours video playback and up to 17 hours of phone calls, a 1.9-mega-pixel front-facing camera in HD and a main 8-mega-pixel sensor, with autofocus and LED flash. It includes support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and USB 2.0, as well as the sensors support, including the proximity, light, accelerometer, digital compass and more.
