Samsung’s New Chromebook Wrapped in Faux Leather

Evleaks posted a couple of images of what seems to be a Chrome OS-powered notebook covered in fake black leather.

The new notebook sports Chrome and Samsung logos.

Samsung seems to have borrowed the faux leather design from its smartphone line and the Chromebook also has gray stitching along the edges, similar to the Galaxy Note 3′s design. Evleaks called the device the Chromebook 2 and the notebook has familiar Samsung and Chrome logos on it. The faux leather design was first introduced with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, followed by other Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab tablets.

The Chromebook 2 appears to be covered in fake leather.

Rumor has it that Samsung will be launching two notebooks, one with Samsung’s Exynos chip and one that  will most likely have an Intel Haswell-based Celeron processor.

Very little is known about the Chromebook 2 and Samsung has yet to confirm anything.
