Samsung has revealed its new and improved Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 which will be first on the list for happy snappers.

The new year 2014 is expected to be full of surprise packages for awesome gadgets release, and it seems like Samsung is the first to reveal a new gadget in the new year.

The new Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is a super-snapper, an upgraded version that will be replacing the current model – Samsung Galaxy Camera, the Samsung Galaxy Camera.

The new Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is an upgraded model

The new Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 now includes a 1.6GHz processor, extended battery life and, most importantly, will take better photos.

Running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, you get the power and 21x zoom of a compact camera, with ease of sharing your snaps on a smartphone.

This new model includes Tag & Go which makes it easy to connect the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 to NFC-enabled smartphones and other devices.

A simple tap will automatically pair and transfer images using a host of clever functions. Viewing your family photos is also made easier with the 4.8-inch HD touch screen.

The original Galaxy Camera, launched just over one year ago, has won numerous awards and went down well with the snap-happy public.

Simon Stanford, Vice President of IM division, Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said: “Consumers love the Galaxy Camera and this next-generation version is designed to improve on the successful predecessor, with upgraded and new features that will enhance the photography experience.”

Samsung reckon their new image processing system will mean far superior photos than the original Galaxy Camera.

And the Galaxy Camera 2 will also automatically back up all your pictures, making sure those memories are kept safe.

This should help to make this already popular device even more attractive.
