According to an unnamed source, Samsung is working on a slimmer version of its Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
Galaxy Gear 2 will be hinner than the current model
Samsung is unstoppable and it seems the South Korean company works really hard on the next smartwatch. Chinese website, ET News has some information referring the Galaxy Gear 2 and its new design. Actually, they learned it will be between 15% and 20% thinner than the previous smartwatch model. The same unnamed source stated that the Galaxy Gear 2 will be compatible with the next Samsung flagship smartphone, Galaxy S5 and apparently the launch of both devices is planned to be on the same day.
The next-generation Galaxy Gear will be improved with more integrated features, such as games support, entertainment and health care apps. As for the Galaxy S4 successor, the rumors suggest it will feature an aluminum shell, a 16-mega-pixel camera, and a 64-bit processor.
