New Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is coming in two colours. In the picture we see the phone in black, although Samsung calls this color the “Black Mist”.

For some time there have been a lot of rumours that Samsung will launch a mini version of the new flagship, Galaxy S4. We already mentioned some rumours here:

But just like last year’s Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, the new Galaxy S4 mini basically has only part of the name in common with its big brother, the Galaxy S4. The new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini measures 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94mm, and is considerably smaller than the Galaxy S4. It weighs 107 grams – making the Galaxy S4 mini unusually light phone.

There is still no official price on the Galaxy S4 mini, but if we look at the phone’s specifications, it is obvious that it is a mid-range phone, probably very affordable. Specifications include a 4.3-inch super Amoled screen, a dual core processor with a clock speed of 1.7GHz and 8 gigabytes of storage memory. The device has a memory card slot up to 64 gigabytes.

The unit will boast two cameras: a rear-mounted 8-megapixel camera and a video call camera of 1.9 megapixels. Galaxy S4 Mini will be also equipped with photo-specific software features such as Panorama Shot and Sound & Shoot, that can recording audio and voice, while taking a picture.
