Update: December 31, 2020 (12:30 p.m. ET): Just over a week after One UI 3.0 arrived on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, the 4G variant welcomes the update. According to a report by GSMArena The update based on Android 11 is currently being rolled out to users in Europe and Nigeria.
Together with the latest version of Google's mobile operating system and Samsung's latest version of its skin, the update also brings the security patch from December 2020 to the flip phone.
It's unclear when the update will be released in other regions of the world, but we expect it to follow shortly.

Exactly one week after its introduction, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4G already receives its first software update. It adds a camera feature that was previously missing in the foldable phone.
According to SamMobile The new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4G is now being introduced in the USA and brings the single-take mode to the camera. The feature should be immediately available on the phone. However, it looks like Samsung failed to add it to the shipment in time. This could be because the Z Flip is already in high demand and Samsung is bringing out as many devices as possible, even if the promised feature hasn't been preloaded.
Nevertheless, the software update is reportedly provided in single-take mode for all unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 4G variants. The camera function allows you to take multiple photos and video clips at the same time from the two rear sensors. You can then go to the image gallery to select your favorite recording or clip.
In addition to the new camera mode, the update adds the February 2020 security patch to the earlier Galaxy Z Flip model. There are also some stability improvements and bug fixes. You can download the OTA update from below Settings> Software update on the phone.
In August 2020, Galaxy Z Flip 4G users received the One UI 2.5 update (version F700U1UEU2BTGE). This brought a number of features to the table, including a better pro video mode, an improved Samsung keyboard, and the ability to require a Wi-Fi connection's password.
A UI 3.0 finally arrived on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G model with version number F707BXXU1CTL6 in December. The skin based on Android 11 was originally introduced in Switzerland.
