Samsung Galaxy S4 Sports 5-inch Screen, Air Gestures and More

Battle against Apple heats up once again as the rival company, Samsung has unveiled its’ next-gen flagship smartphone, Galaxy S4. New device sports the same old design but has a less-curved, thin body. It also has a bigger screen and a faster processor, along with more great new features.

Samsung Galaxy S4 specs -:

  • Processor - 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon  CPU
  • RAM - 2GB of RAM
  • Memory - 16, 32, 64GB of internal storage
  • Camera - 13-megapixel (back), 2-megapixel (front)
  • Battery - 2,600mAh battery
  • Operating System - Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • Weight / Thickness - 130g / 7.9mm
  • Others - Micro SD, NFC, S Beam, Bluetooth,

Huffington Post points out some of the coolest tricks that Galaxy S4 can do. Including the ability to control the phone using “Air Gestures” without even touching the display. There’s also a new “Dual Camera” feature that activates both camera’s on front and back at the same time. “S Health” app tracks fitness and food diary, “Smart Pause” feature is also another innovative feature that detects your eye movements and stops a video when you look away, “Group Play” feature allows several S4 devices to join in to play a game, and there’s many other features as well.

Galaxy S4 also comes with a lot of new accessories like a Game Pad, S View Cover, S Band that works with S Health app, Wireless charging pad cover, HRM a running coach, headset and a whole lot more.

Samsung will release Galaxy S4 in Q2 2013 in the U.S via Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Although, pricing details still remains a mystery at this point.
