Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) Water Resistant Smartphones Announced

Samsung has announced its Galaxy A lineup ahead of CES 2017. The newly announced smartphones are Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and A3 (2017). These phones are IP68 certified meaning they offer dust and water resistance. All 3 smartphone will be first available in Russia before making to markets across the globe.

The Galaxy A (2017) series comes with a lot of updates like Fast Charge technology, enhanced camera, USB Type-C port and Always on Display.  They now come with a metal frame and 3D glass back and will be available in Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud color variants.

The new Galaxy A (2017) series will support up to 256GB microSD cards for storage expansion, a fingerprint scanner on the Home Button, Samsung Pay with both NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) compatibility, Samsung Cloud, and Secure Folder.

Speaking of the launch, DJ Koh, President of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, said, “At Samsung, we are always trying to ensure our customers have the most advanced products on the market. The latest Galaxy A series is a testament to this. We integrated our unique approach to design as well as the features Galaxy customers have come to love to provide added performance without compromising on style.”
