New Samsung Chromebook 2 is an upgraded version of its’ successor which now comes in two screen sizes – 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch. Both models comes packed with Samsung’s powerful Exynos 5 Octa processor, 4GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 720p HD camera and 8.5-hours of battery life. The 13-inch model sports 1920 x 1080 resolution display and CPU clocked at 2.1GHz while the 11-inch model features 1366 x 768 resolution display with CPU clocked at 1.9GHz.
“Chromebooks are particularly important in the education space – according to Futuresource, one in four devices now sold into K-12 schools in the U.S. are Chromebooks – so we’ve designed our latest models with students and teachers in mind, including features like rapid start times, longer battery life and easy-to-grip design,” said Samsung’s Tod Pike.
Samsung will start shipping these new Chromebooks next month, with prices starting at $320 and $400, respectively for 11-inch and 13-inch models.
