Samsung 870 EVO SSD has been launched with read and write speeds of 560MB/s and 530MB/s in India. The South Korean tech giant claims that it can deliver up to 38% improvement in random read speeds as compared to the 860 EVO models. The company official said that the 870 EVO is designed with the environment in mind to minimizes carbon footprint.

Yesterday, Samsung launched its most new affordable Samsung 870 EVO SSD lineup. As per the report, The new 870 EVO lineup comes in four storage capacities – 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB storage. Samsung uses the company’s latest V-NAND and controller in its 870 EVO SSD lineup due to which it offers read and write speed up to 560MB/s and 530MB/s. Additionally, The company use the SATA interface, and not PCIe.

The 250GB variant is priced at Rs.3,599, whereas the 500GB version costs Rs.5,999. The 1TB version sale at Rs.10,999, 2TB variant is priced at Rs.21,999 and lastly, the 4GB variant carries a price tag of Rs.43,999 respectively. Samsung 870 EVO SSD comes with Five-year Limited Warranty and Interested consumers can purchase it from today via the company’s offline and online stores across the country.
