Cut The Rope: Time Travel is very addicting. But that’s not always a bad thing. As fun and challenging as the first game was, there’s not much you could add without entirely changing the very idea of Cut The Rope. That said, Cut the Rope: Time Travel does add in a new change, as you must now feed two monsters instead of one and the levels play through out historical locations. Players now cut ropes in the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, a pirate ship, ancient Egypt, ancient Greece and the Stone Age. If you were a fan of the original, picking up Cut The Rope: Time Travel is a no brainer.

Gameplay: This timeless classic takes a mobile favorite and gives it a twist, no pun intended. In this cut the rope you will be playing through different time periods. Your objective stays the same but different elements of the levels will change. The presentation is most definitely gearing towards kids. Still enjoyable for all ages, the animations and colors have been softened and brightened. Playing this on an iPad is a treat but will still be available to other iOS and android devices. There are in app purchases available like most games now a days, al though that will not affect your experience.

Final Thoughts: A time killing classic that suits most needs with a few swipes of a finger. It's been awhile since the last Cut The Rope game so get back into it with Time Travel. I am having a lot of fun with it but can get frustrating if you're trying to get all three stars. If you aren't, it can get boring. Definitely a pick and put down type of game for small periods of time. There is nothing wrong with this release, just not much new.
