What you need:
1 tbsp cooking oil2 tbsp sambal belachan 2 tbsp water200g long bean, trimmed the ends, and cut to 2” longsalt to taste
(A) Dried shrimp paste
1 tbsp dried shrimp soaked in water until softened5 shallots peeled5 garlic cloves peeled
Method:
Put ingredients (A) into a grinder and grind for a few sec.
Heat oil in a wok. Combine ingredient (A) and sambal belacan. Stir fry until fragrant.
Add long beans and water. Stir fry for a few minutes and mix well, until the water has evaporated and the long beans are well mixed with the sambal.
Season with salt (optional)
