Actress Salma Hayek has teamed up with UNICEF to launch the “A Crowdwise Campaign” to help victims of the 7.1 earthquake that hit Mexico on Tuesday. The actress contributed $100,000 personally to the cause and is urging other’s to get involved.
“I have lived in the aftermath of a disaster of this magnitude and it’s horrific,” she said.
The people of my country have now suffered three natural disasters in a row. Many children and families are hurt and in terrible need.
