Audrey Hepburn was everybody's dream girl and the Audrey dress speaks of her glamour and sophisticated style. Its simple elegant shape falls gently over the hips creating fullness at the hem, the soft silk georgette swishing as you sway. Audrey, known for wearing simple shaped, elegant dresses, always glammed them up with a bit of sparkle and personality. The delicate curves of beading on the bodice bring this gown that hint of sparkle, while the bow on the shoulder drapes down giving the dress that extra feminine touch.

Billie Holiday was a pioneer who went from times of trouble to becoming one of the most influential female jazz singers of all time. Billie is a statement dress, with its open back and fitted shape showing off the curves of the body. The scalloped edging around the sleeves and neckline have a 1920s glamour feel, and the all-over lace floral pattern is made from subtle sequins that make the whole dress glimmer in the light, sure to catch the eye. This dress has the sparkle factor - just what Billie would have wanted when standing in front of her adoring fans.

The creator of fashion itself, Coco Chanel was stylish and sophisticated. Chanel changed the way women saw clothing and fashion, breaking the mould of tradition. The Coco dress follows suit, offering a short dress instead of the traditional full-length wedding gown. A dress for the ambitious and energetic bride, the beautiful beaded tulle outer and scalloped hemline are reminiscent of the popular styles of the 20s, and the Coco dress is lined in a soft decadent satin.

Diana was kind, nurturing and beautiful, a princess in personality as well as position. The Diana dress will make any bride feel like royalty on her big day, the luxurious silk skirt pleated at the top to create folds and waves that cascade down to the hem line. Volume is created through fabric rather than structure, to allow movement and avoid the dress becoming restrictive and puffy. The intricate lace bodice is sectioned into panels with a delicate scalloped edging separating each one. The back of the gown is unlined enabling the lace detail to stand out against the skin, with pearl buttons down the back adding that final princess touch.

As the First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy established herself not only as a leader in her role but as a strong woman with class and style. The Jacqueline dress is equally understated with a simple shape and lace trim detail. The lace edging of the panels in the bodice lead into elegant straps that rise over the shoulder and run down the exposed back. The skirt is a soft silk georgette, slim while still having enough fullness to move beautifully and coming into a small train.

This pretty lace and silk blouse is named after New Zealand's own Kate Sheppard, who led the campaign that won women the right to vote. Know for her outspokenness, Eleanor Roosevelt was an amazing First Lady who let her voice be heard. The Eleanor skirt makes quite the statement with it's bold pleats at the waist creating folds and fullness through the skirt. It has weight to it with its vast amount of fabric, however is constructed from a stunning fine silk to maintain a soft graceful look.

The Marie dress has all the extravagance of Marie Antoinette - lace, embroidery and layers of chiffon. This dress has a modern style bodice with fitted bust cups and paneling detail, intricate embroidered flowers adorning the top of the bodice and crossing the back in two floral lines. Just as Marie Antionette always wanted to make up her own mind, the straps of this dress are detachable for your preference. The multi layered skirt - combining semi transparent silk chiffon over beautiful embroidered lace, more chiffon and satin - is a softer take on the decadence of a full lace gown.

The beautiful Marilyn Monroe charmed the entire world. The Marilyn dress imitates her, its deep V neckline and exposed back making it just that little bit sexy. It also embraces her fragile side, with delicate embroidered flowers scattered over the shoulders and hanging across the back. The light silk full circle skirt gives a lot of movement - perfect if you have an iconic Marilyn wind machine handy.
