I remember hearing this song on a television show about five years ago. I’m not really into Bruce’s music but I’ve always liked this one. Today I read the lyrics and never realized how much I can relate to them. I love this last part:

Sad Eyes was released in November of 1998 from a special box set called Tracks. It was originally recorded in January of 1990. This particular set contained unreleased songs during Springsteen’s previous album sessions. In 1999, Enrique Iglesias recorded a cover version which made the the Top 40. Listen to his version HERE.
