Saad Lamjarred’s new video clip with Mohamed Ramadan, “Ensay“, accumulated millions of views just hours after its launch. However, this success could be undermined by a new controversy.

In a sequence in the clip, the Egyptian singer Mohamed Ramadan appears, lighting a cigarette at the entrance of a Parisian restaurant. However, since 1 February 2007, France has banned “smoking in all enclosed and covered places open to the public or which constitute workplaces…” So this could get Saad Lamjarred into trouble.

This scene provoked the anger of the Internet users who criticized the two singers, believing that they are supposed to set an example for their fans.

Entitled “Ensay”, Saad Lamjarred’s new video clip is a mix of pop, rap and Egyptian popular style. The two celebrities played an original staging to introduce the sound, which was much appreciated by Internet users. The clip was shot in France and cost 4.5 million dirhams, according to our information.
