My SoCal road trip to the Camarillo airshow conveniently had some aviation museums along the way. Paso Robles is the home to a very nice collection of warbirds, especially combat jets. I definitely was not expecting to see this Swedish attack aircraft! Apparently in the late 1980’s, the Swedish Air Force was desperate to obtain a Spitfire for their collection and sold off five surplus aircraft (which included two Lansens) to raise the funds. The Museum acquired one of the Lansens in September 2009. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
