There’s no denying that music is what truly makes it feel like Christmas. Unfortunately, most of the Christmas music our generation produces comes across as gimmicky or over produced. However, with a fresh take on a couple of classic carols, S. Hamood and the Paperbacks have grabbed our attention here at The Wild Honey Pie. Singer Stephanie Hamood has a quirky and lighthearted voice that’s almost impossible to dislike. Not to mention, it’s very well suited for their refreshingly upbeat version of “Silent Night”.

A collaboration between Hamood, the electronic focused John Katona of Dog & Panther and critic Clinton Collister, the trio will be donating any money from the release to First Book. Certainly a worthy cause for some great holiday classics!
