This Navion performs a flyby during the Planes of Fame Airshow. The Navion four-seat aircraft was originally designed and built by North American Aviation in the 1940s. It was later built by Ryan Aeronautical Company and then Tubular Steel Corporation (TUSCO). Ryan manufactured over 600 of the Navion A models, which also became the basis for the military version L-17B as simulated with this example. The Navion was marketed for an expected postwar boom in civilian aviation that never occurred. This aircraft was designed along the general lines of, and built by the same company which produced the P-51 Mustang. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
