Prof. Rok Ajulu is categorical on the matter of the current row between Pretoria and Kigali. He does not seem to be comfortable with the turn that things took with Kagame’s nth attempt of assassination on its dissidents in South Africa. According the professor, South Africa should’ve severed the diplomatic relationships instead of expelling diplomats only.
Professor considers this to be a sign of weakness of South Africa in its African foreign policy, which is typical of the structure of the continental African Union, where heads of states are like members of a club.
