Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) has been cast in the film the Perfect Guy according to a report from The Wrap. The Perfect Guy also stars Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut.
Rutina plays Alicia, the best friend of Sanaa Lathan’s character Leah. Alicia enjoys living the single live and tries to support and give advice to her friend when she begins being stalked by her once perfect guy Carter (Michael Ealy)
The report doesn’t mention when filming begins. In addition to The Perfect Guy and her role on True Blood, Rutina will soon be seen in a film called Last Weekend with Patricia Clarkson.
