Rutger Hauer to Star in Kickback

Rutger Hauer (Niall) is set to join the cast of a new UK thriller entitled Kickback. According to the report from Screen Daily, the film will reunite Hauer and his Blade Runner co-star Sean Young. The cast also includes  John Cusack, Karen David, Sean Astin, Mischa Barton, Michael Biehn, Tom Sizemore and John Hannah.

Kickback is described as a crime thriller that follows a Moscow detective as he investigates the murder of a female war journalist. Production on the film is set to begin in March of 2014 in Prague. The report doesn’t mention what role Hauer will be taking on.
