Verdict on Rustin

Rustin is a biographical drama following another influential member of the civil rights movement Bayard Rustin. It follows his challenging attempts to organize the biggest march in history and wants to help fight for equality. Even if his fight is for more than just the color of a person’s skin, but their sexuality too.

This is another important movie which shows the difficult battle people faced for equality. It brings the biggest names everyone knows to life, through their interaction with Bayard and his own battle. The important message is clear, equality for all and this challenges more than just race. Colman Domingo is outstanding in the leading role. While the supporting cast is excellent too.
