India is believed to have submitted to the United States that the alternative to Russian weapons is too expensive, Bloomberg reported quoting people who realized Indian exchanges recently with the US participated in the Russian invasion to Ukraine. The report said India told us the Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland of alternative weaknesses for Russian weapons.
Apart from the cheap equipment, the Russian company was willing to establish a joint venture with Indian companies, which was conveyed by US defense weapons, India reported to Nuland.

In March, Victoria Nuland came to India and held a consultation with a foreign secretary Harsh Shringla. He also met with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. Nuland said the Russian-Chinese shaft is not good for India and the US can help with defense inventory.
During his visit, Victoria Nuland said India had to oppose autocracy such as Russia and China, regardless of historical relations between India and Russia, which developed when the US was not ready to have relationships with India.
