Gail has a long-term gas import agreement with Singapore’s Gazprom Marketing & Trading for each year to buy 2.5 million tons of liquid natural gas and have exchanged trading with Gazprom in dollars. The source familiar with the problem said the state-run Indian company still checking demand.
