Runaway Angel Kickin’ Up Dust In Toronto

Boots & Bourbon Saloon hosted the album release party for Runaway Angel on April 22nd and of course, it didn't disappoint.

Runaway Angel took to the stage and jumped into it with their tune Tumbleweed, which is a lot of fun, great sound and harmonies. A song about just being free, and rolling with it, kind of like a tumbleweed (of course). The night just motored on playing their album through, including their current single June and adding a cover tune at the end One Last Time by Ariana Grande, as well as a new song called Her.

Runaway Angel mixed up the tempo, taking a seat and slowing things down for a bit and overall, had a beautiful contrast and mix to the night. A couple songs I noticed had some nice, heavy southern rock riffs which I love. The girls can write, sing, and entertain. It was a great time, they had everyone up and just going with the flow of the night, packing the dance floor. On my way out, one woman emphatically told me they were a true triple threat. I can't speak on their acting abilities but, there are three of them so, that works. It just shows how excited they make people in earshot of their music. Having three individuals with so much talent that they can combine, must be reassuring. Look out over the summer for Runaway Angel all over the Country circuit.
