Plot: Meet Neal. He’s lonely, gets bullied at work, and is unlucky in love. At the suggestion of a co-worker he decides to go to a massage parlor and in the process his life changes in ways he never would have imagined.

Story: Rub starts when lonely, bullied office worker Neal (Spayer) gets convinced to try a massage parlor. After he does, he meets Perla (Figuereo) and enjoys the experience. However, once he returns to work, he finds himself mocked for going through with it.
Neal finds his life going upside in the aftermath, leading to him returning to see Perla again. However, this time things take a dramatic turn, as he helps her escape a robbery leading to the pair running away together.
Verdict on Rub
Rub is a thriller following a lonely man who meets a massage parlor worker and sees his life turned upside down. They get involved in a robbery turned bad and must go on the run to escape the people behind it.
This is a romantic thriller following an unlikely couple finding themselves on the run. It makes a big point to show the different worlds the pair have come from. While going down a path to show the difficult life they have created for themselves. This creates a road trip movie learning a new people in life can change everything. The performances are strong, and the sense of adventure is great to see throughout. However, despite being tracked, they never feel like they are under any real threat.
