Verdict on Rub

Rub is a thriller following a lonely man who meets a massage parlor worker and sees his life turned upside down. They get involved in a robbery turned bad and must go on the run to escape the people behind it.

This is a romantic thriller following an unlikely couple finding themselves on the run. It makes a big point to show the different worlds the pair have come from. While going down a path to show the difficult life they have created for themselves. This creates a road trip movie learning a new people in life can change everything. The performances are strong, and the sense of adventure is great to see throughout. However, despite being tracked, they never feel like they are under any real threat.

Final Thoughts Rub a tense on-the-run road-trip movie.
