Royal Building Enhances Operation with Dedicated Transportation

With 23 manufacturing locations in the U.S. and Canada, Royal Building Products (a division of Axiall Corporation) serves dealers, distributors and builders with a growing line of building products – and has been doing so for nearly 50 years.  From siding, trim, soffits, decking, exterior moldings, window profiles and patio doors to interior moldings and trim, pipes and fittings, Royal has a complex freight environment that keeps its transportation and logistics departments constantly seeking new ways to save time and money.

In a new case study, we share how Royal Building partnered with Ryder to find efficiencies in their transportation operation.  By implementing a dedicated transportation solution, which included a fleet of 27 drivers, 26 tractors and 46 trailers for Royal’s Marion, Virginia as well as Bristol, Tennessee locations, Ryder helped the company significantly reduce costs and shorten lead times.
