Verdict on Round the Decay
Recap
The movie follows a group of strangers visiting a sleepy tourist town. However, their visit becomes a nightmare when a creature is unleashed and they learn the truth about the history of the town
Best Parts
The movie uses the town’s history to drive the story forward. It creates a divide between the locals and what the creature represents. When it comes to the attacks, they are brutal blood-soaked events which shows the power the creature has. The characters are crafted well for the ones fighting back, with a reason they have arrived in the area. The performances are strong from the whole cast.
Worst Parts
The weakest part of the movie comes from the pure number of characters. It creates a bigger bloodbath but doesn’t always give the more important figures enough time to show what they are fighting for.
Final Thoughts –Round the Decay is a blood-soaked creature feature.
