Romantic Wedding in Venice | Maria & Vaggelis

By Eleni Balkouli @Love4Wed

Inspired by their love, this couple chose romantic Venice with its idyllic sceneries for the destination of their wedding. We absolutely loved the silk ivory wedding dress with the open back and long sleeves, which matched perfectly with the whole style and the place of the wedding. The bridal bouquet with the fresh flowers and the vivid yellow hues added the essential pop of color in each scene! Check out the following photos and feel completely transported to this beautiful scenery!

The bride shared with us: “We met through work. We collaborated on a difficult project, and after ten hours of hard work he offered to buy me a dinner, to thank me for our collaboration.”

“As for my wedding dress I wore a ‘Rembo styling’, romantic silk ivory wedding dress with polka dot sleeves and polka dot veil and open back.”

“Our wedding ceremony took place in Venice, in the Greek Orthodox Church San Giorgio dei Greci.”

“Our wedding style was romantic and chic with yellow and white hues. We decorated the church with arrangements and tall candelabras with the same flowers as the bridal bouquet. Our guests wore flower bracelets with chamomiles and we also had a handmade basket decorated with sunflowers. We offered our guests wedding favors and as a gift a homemade lemon jar. Our wedding reception had also yellow and white flower decorations. Around the pool we had big vases with sunflowers and daisies.”

“The best moment of our wedding was when I got out of the gondola and I saw my husband waiting for me as I approached the church’s yard.”

Advice to a bride to be: “You should plan ahead and write down everything that has to do with the wedding, even the tiniest detail, be flexible and listen your instinct.”
