You will be swooning over these stunning views and beautiful details in every photo. Basak and Zack’s destination wedding in Santorini was nothing short of romantic, and we are excited to share these stunning photos from Kimonas Photography with you. Enjoy every single pretty detail!

The bride shared with us: “We had a fall wedding in Oia, Santorini. We met each other through work. Zack proposed on Christmas Day last year with a nice surprise. We were opening Christmas gifts and he gave me one of the boxes. When I opened it, there was lovely story about us along with another smaller box. In the smaller box was another story and an even smaller box. This went on for a few more boxes until I got to the last one. The note inside the last box told me to look at the Christmas tree where the ring was. Took me a while to find the well-hidden ring on the tree and by that time, he was on this knees.”

“This was a destination wedding, so we planned everything through our amazing wedding planner Alexandra. Santorini is absolutely beautiful, so we really embraced the White Island and the blue of the Mediterranean and kept everything pretty simple. Everything including the bouquet and the flowers were light pink & white theme (mainly roses).”

We did not use your wedding blog Chic and Stylish Weddings but it is absolutely beautiful, we did not know about it at the time. We mainly referred to other Santorini wedding photos from our wedding planner as our main guide.”

“It’s hard to pinpoint one moment, it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish.”

“It was a mermaid style, sweetheart neckline wedding dress with a lace top and a beautiful lace train (from Calla Blanche). I absolutely loved it.”

Bride’s Advice: “For brides planning a destination wedding, my biggest advice is to research and find a good wedding planner because that makes a big difference. We were lucky to find ours and really trusted her with every single detail of our wedding and our trip which took a lot of the stress out of the process.”
