It's fun to collect unusual stones and minerals, but when you come across a rock formation that looks like a muppet, that's something special. Take a look at this blue agate. Divided in half it looks very similar Sesame Street Muppet Biscuit monster.

According to American geologist Mike Bowers, the current owner of the rock, Lucas Fassari found the unusual rock in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul region in November. Bowers posted information about the unusual find on his Facebook page this week.

"I think this is probably the most perfect cookie monster out there," Bowers said in an interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday. "I've seen others, but here you have it completely (both sides)."

Before the indescribable stone was split, it looked very much like a gray egg. Once the stone is broken in half, it will contain blue quartz crystals that look very much like a very lucky cookie monster.

To celebrate the rock's eerie resemblance to the cookie monster, Bowers uploaded a video to Facebook showing the blue stone along with a song from Sesame Street in which the cookie monster sings about the letter C.

Bowers is already being followed by excited stone and mineral collectors who want to own the unusual agate for themselves.

"This is very unusual. There are a couple of famous agates out there: the owl, the scared face ... there are many approximate but rarely well-defined like that," Bowers said. "Prices can be very high. I've been suggested by five different buyers for over $ 10,000."

No word yet whether Bowers is actually planning to sell the quirky rock.
