It’s Friday, and although this has been the shortest working week ever (3 days, actually can’t believe it), I’m absolutely cream crackered. I had a lovely weekend in London plannned with the boyfriend which unfortunately has had to be put on hold so I can dedicate Saturday and Sunday to writing a report (the deadline is rapidly approaching). The combination of extreme tiredness and uber-business has made for some lazy outfit decisions as perfectly demonstrated by the image to the left. This is the ultimate in can’t-be-bothered chic for days when I am just not feeling glam enough for beautiful dresses and perfect hair. The waistcoat and scarf are the ones I featured in a post earlier this week about what to wear for this miserable inbetween weather (hot but rainy). They are a brilliant way of a) covering up without being too warm and b) making an otherwise average outfit slightly more interesting. I wore my favourite casual tee underneath, which is a grey crew neck batman logo top from Junk Food that I bought at the Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model Exhibition in October last year. I love their tees.

Finally this look definitely requires unkempt bed-head hair and plenty of kohl around the eyes. Lots of rings and bracelets would also work well here.
Overall, this is the perfect casual Friday attire and a good example of how versatile that 3-piece set of scarf, waistcoat and white top from Next can be (see post here for more details). It’s also another outfit to add to the Inbetween weather wardrobe as once again it was far from freezing cold, but still pouring with rain today. When will we get some sun?
