Robin Williams, Frozen, Flappy Bird Among Google’s Top Searches of 2014

Google has released its annual Zeitgeist, now called “Year in Search”, ranking the top Google searches of 2014. The tragic death of the beloved comedian Robin Williams has dominated Google search with most searches in the year, followed by FIFA world cup and the Ebola virus.

The ALS ice bucket challenge and Disney’s sensational new movie Frozen has beaten many other popular topics to make it to Top10 list. Flappy Bird is also among the top trending searches. It’s truly amazing how this small, simple addictive game has left such a large impact on the internet.
