Do you remember my crazy day trip to Houston last month {documented on Instagram}?! Well, it was a quick trip to visit The Outnet {Net-a-Porter‘s little sister} and The Coveteur {THE ones who take you into the closets of stylemakers}… wait for it… in TEXAS!! That’s right, BOTH were in Texas. I missed them the first go-round in Dallas because of a work conference, but I would NOT miss it when they hit my hometown of Houston.

Of course, it was the usual fabulousity to be expected when an event is hosted by The Outnet’s styling director, Eve Thomas, and content creator, Njide Ugboma, at the swanky Hotel Zaza! Gorgeous dresses, heels, handbags, and accessories were on display. The Coveteur was there to photograph all of it AND they had just coveteured my friend Monica!
Although my REAL camera was in my bag, I only managed to get iPhone pics. How does that happen? Anyhow, I got to meet new bloggers and ogle all the to-die-for pieces from The Outnet. At the end of the event, we got goodie bags with a Coveteur notebook and giftcard for The Outnet! Whoo hoo!

Long story short, the purple split bell sleeve dress is the end result of THAT said gift card! The MOVEMENT of those sleeves… well, it’s just so fun! Can you tell by all my moving pics?! I’ve already worn this dress 3 times – bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, Van Cliburn preliminaries. Yes, DEFINITELY a keeper! In case you haven’t visited The Outnet, it’s a must do! I bought these heels and this necklace over Memorial Day weekend. I know… TROUBLE!
